Dress Code and Policies

• There is a dress code for all ballet and jazz students at Centre Dance

• All ballet students at Centre Dance (except Pre-ballet students) are required to wear a black ballet leotard (any style), pink ballet tights, and pink ballet slippers in either leather or canvas. Hair must be worn in a ballet bun not a pony tail. If you choose you may also wear a ballet skirt and sweater of your choice. T-shirts, cami's, and sweatshirts are not appropriate warm-up wear. If a student repeatedly comes to class without proper attire they may be asked to sit out of class.

• Jazz students: Black lycra dance pants of any style worn with a leotard of any color or style. Jazz shoes in either black or tan.

• All Hip-Hop students: Please express yourself with your choice of dance wear. No jeans or restrictive pants, no school clothes. Any non-marking sneaker, dance sneaker, or jazz shoes are acceptable.

• Pre-ballet/Creative movement: Your choice of ballet leotard and skirt worn with pink tights and pink leather ballet slippers (No underwear underneath)
